About

Like most professional programmers, I often develop various computer programs in my spare time (for two reasons: to solve a problem at hand, and to experiment with new languages, tools, and paradigms that I don't use in my day job) and if any of those programs might be of use to other people, I put them here

BabyPhotoRenamer

If you're like me, you've got hundreds of digital baby photos and it's getting hard to navigate them by thumbnail alone. You need them to have meaningful names indicating how old your child was when the photos were taken.

BabyPhotoRenamer is a file renamer program that looks into your baby photo files and gets the date your image was taken and renames your photos with how old your baby was when the photo was taken. (e.g. Janice_8_months_picnic_0152.jpg).

pasteCode

Programmers: want to email some source code to a colleague and have it be actually readable and highlighted just like in your code editor? Well with pasteCode, you can do just that.

Your code is pasted into the email editor in a fixed width font with syntax highlighting. The highlighting is based on C/C++ syntax, but it makes most source code look pretty good.

resto_db
